When will I be able to submit my full paper?

After the initial round of abstract reviews, all accepted and registered authors will be invited to submit full papers for the proceedings publications. What are the official languages of the Conference?

The official languages of the Conference are Croatian and English. All abstracts should be submitted in Croatian or English and all presentations are to be delivered in Croatian or English.


Can we present via video link or Skype?

Unfortunately not - all presenters must attend the conference and present in person.


Is participation at the social dinner event included in the Conference fee?

Yes. The Conference fees includes the social dinner.


What is the currency in Croatia and can I use my credit card?

The currency in Croatia is the Kuna (HRK). Most shops, restaurants and hotels accept credit cards. Visa and MasterCard are the most widely accepted. Most banks have ATMs where you can access your debit or credit account.


What is the weather going to be like in December?

In Osijek, the summers are warm, the winters are very cold, and it is partly cloudy year round. Over the course of the year, the temperature typically varies from 262°F C to 8428°F C and is rarely below 13-10°F C or above 9335°FC. The cold season lasts for 3.4 months, from November 22 to March 2, with an average daily high temperature below 478°FC. Is the conference held in the centre of Osijek?

No, the conference is not held in the centre of Osijek. The Faculty of Education, the Conference venue, is a few minutes drive east from the town centre. For more information visit:


Will lunch be provided?

The conference fee covers refreshments during breaks (including tea, coffee, water and some snacks), two lunches and the Conference dinner.


Are electrical plugs different from other European countries?

They are 220 volts/50Hz. Plugs are 2- pronged and rounded. Bring an adapter for your phone, tablet, laptop, etc. Mainland Europe’s plugs are mostly the same except for the UK's which are 3- pronged and flat.


How do I get a Visa for the conference?

Do I need a visa to attend the conference?

Everyone entering Croatia must have a valid passport, or in the case of European Union Member States, a national identity card. Visas are required for some countries. Conference participants should check their requirements by visiting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Affairs


How can I obtain an invitation letter to support my visa application?

Should you require a letter of invitation to support any visa application we will gladly provide this to anyone who has submitted and have had their paper accepted for the conference.
